THE FOLLOWING IS THE SOFTWARE LICENSING AGREEMENT BETWEEN YOU, THE END USER, (REFERRED TO IN THIS AGREEMENT AS “YOU” OR “YOUR”) AND KORG INC. (REFERRED TO IN THIS AGREEMENT AS “KORG”) FOR YOUR USE OF THE SOFTWARE IN THIS PRODUCT AND OUR SUPPORT SERVICES TO YOU. THE ENCLOSED SOFTWARE PROGRAM IS LICENSED BY KORG TO YOU AS THE ORIGINAL PURCHASER FOR USE ONLY ON THE TERMS SET OUT HEREIN. BY USING (INSTALLING OR MAKING A BACKUP COPY OF) THE SOFTWARE, YOU ARE AGREEING TO THE TERMS SET OUT IN THIS AGREEMENT. IT IS THEREFORE IMPORTANT THAT YOU READ THIS LICENSING AGREEMENT WITH CARE BEFORE USING THE SOFTWARE.

1. GRANT OF LICENSE AND COPYRIGHT
Korg grants you, the original purchaser, the non-exclusive right to use the program and the data file constituting this software and the upgrade program(s) as well as the data file(s) which may be distributed to you from time to time (hereinafter referred to collectively as “Licensed Program”) on associated Korg product(s) and/or a single computer under your control and used by only one person at a time.
All references to the Licensed Program shall mean the object code only of the program(s) comprising the Licensed Program.
The Licensed Program and any manuals or other written documentation supplied with the Licensed Program belongs to you. The ownership of the rights to and the copyright of the Licensed Program itself (whether supplied via a storage device, diskette, download from the Internet or otherwise) and the copyright of the contents of any manual or other written document belong to Korg.
Korg reserves the right to make modifications to the Licensed Program and to the support services set out in clause 7 of this agreement (referred to in this agreement as “the Services”) without prior notification to you.

2. RESTRICTIONS
The Licensed Program contains copyrighted information. For the purpose of protecting such copyrights, you may not decompile, disassemble, reverse engineer, or otherwise reduce the Licensed Program to a human-perceivable form (save as may be permitted by law).
You may not duplicate, alter, modify, rent, lease, resell, assign, loan, sub-license, distribute the whole or part of the Licensed Program, or make derivative works based on what is contained in the Licensed Program. (However, it is not included in this restriction that you create derivative works based on the data file(s).)
You may not transfer the Licensed Program to another computer through a network.
You may make only one backup copy of the Licensed Program, which you are only allowed to use for the purpose of restoring the Licensed Program.

3. TERMINATION
This agreement takes effect on the date you have received the Licensed Program. The license granted in this agreement will terminate automatically without notice from Korg in the event that you breach any provision of this agreement or in any way infringe Korg’s copyright in the Licensed Program.
In such event you must destroy the Licensed Program and its backup copy immediately.

4. PRODUCT WARRANTY
Korg warrants that the Licensed Program when properly used will provide the facilities and functions as described in the accompanying documentation but does not warrant that the operation of the Licensed Program will be uninterrupted or error-free.
This warranty shall however only apply to the latest version of the Licensed Program (provided that Korg has reasonably made such version available to you) and shall not apply to any previous version or versions of the Licensed Program.
Korg’s obligation and your exclusive remedy under the warranty mentioned above, is limited either:
(a) to Korg at its own expense using all reasonable endeavours to rectify any non-conformance with the warranty by repair (by way of a patch, work around, correction or otherwise) within a reasonable period of time or,
(b) to a refund of the license fee paid (if any) if in Korg’s reasonable opinion it is unable to rectify such non-conformance within a reasonable timescale or at an economic cost, whereupon this agreement and the license created by this agreement shall terminate.
The warranties provided in this clause 4 is limited to the product purchased from an authorized retailer, distributor or download from the Korg website.

5. LIMITATIONS ON LIABILITY
You agrees that the express obligations and warranties made by Korg in this Agreement are (so far as is permitted by law) in lieu of and to the exclusion of any other warranty, condition, term, undertaking or representation of any kind, express or implied, statutory or otherwise, relating to anything supplied or services provided under or in connection with this Agreement including (without limitation) any warranty as to the condition, quality, performance, merchantability or fitness for purpose of the Licensed Program and the Services or any part of them.
Korg, in no event, will be liable for the direct, derivative, collateral or consequential damage caused by the use of or the inability of using the Licensed Program (including but not limited to damage of data, lost commercial profit, interruption of work, lost commercial information), regardless of the degree of damages, and even if Korg was aware of the possibility of such damages or the possibility of a claim for damage from a third party in advance.
Nothing in this agreement shall affect the statutory rights of any person dealing with Korg as a consumer.

6. THIRD PARTY SOFTWARE
Korg may on occasions supply software programs, data files and/or documentation belonging to a third party or parties (hereinafter collectively referred to as “Third Party Software”).
If supplied in conjunction with any Korg instrument or equipment, such Third Party Software shall only relate to the non-essential functions of such instrument or equipment.
If Third Party Software has been supplied (whether in conjunction with any Korg instrument or equipment, or as a stand-alone product) a notice to that effect will be contained with or on the disk supplied and in such circumstances Korg shall be deemed to be acting as the agent only of the supplier of such Third Party Software.
In the event that Third Party Software is supplied, you agree to be bound by and to observe any terms and conditions relating to the use of such Third Party Software.
Korg shall not be obliged to provide support services for any Third Party Software supplied (whether relating to operating methods, defects, or otherwise).
Korg provides no warranty in relation to any Third Party Software supplied and all warranties whether express or implied as to the condition, quality, performance, merchantability or fitness for purpose of the Third Party Software or any part of the same are (in so far as may be permitted by law) hereby excluded.
Korg furthermore disclaims all responsibilities for direct, derivative, collateral or consequential damages caused by the use of or the inability of using the Third Party Software (including but not limited to damage of data, lost commercial profit, interruption of work, lost commercial information), regardless of the degree of damages, and even if Korg was aware of the possibility of such damages in advance.

7. SUPPORT SERVICES
Support services such as technical support or upgrade support for this product are provided according to the support service policies of Korg’s distributors applicable in each country.
Korg reserves the right to amend any such policies from time to time in its absolute discretion.

8. GENERAL
The license created by this agreement is personal to you and you may not assign or otherwise transfer your rights or obligations under this agreement without the prior written consent of Korg.
If any part of this Agreement is found by a court of competent jurisdiction or other competent authority to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable then such part shall be severed from the remainder of this Agreement which will continue to be valid and enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by law.
This agreement is governed by and construed under the local law of the country where this product has been purchased.
You hereby agree to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the aforementioned territory, without regards to conflicts of law provisions.
Headings have been included for convenience only and shall not be used in construing any provision in this Agreement.

    Go to the checkout page. Enter your existing Activation Code in to the 'Discount Code' box.
    Or you can Automatically do this by clicking on the UPGRADE button at the Main screen when you start KORG PA Manager.
    Upgrade Fees are as follows:

  • Is PA4X OS v3 NeXT 1.5GB Supported ?

    YES. PA4X OS Next v3 with 1.5GB is Fully Supported.

  • Are Sounds Automatically Imported when Merging Sets ?

    YES, You can easily create your perfect SET with a few easy clicks.
    All Managers are now capable of Automatically Importing All Relevant User Sounds & Samples when Merging from other Sets.
    When a Style / Performance / Pad is copied from another SET, KORG PA Manager Automatically detects which User Sound or UserDK is being used, then all necessary Sounds / Multisamples / Samples are imported in to your own SET.
    When a Sound is Imported, it is automatically placed in its original location, if the slot is empty, otherwise it is automatically re-assigned to a new slot and remaps / updates the original location, be it a Style / Perf / Pad.
    It has also been cleverly designed Not to import Duplicated sounds or samples to save RAM space.

  • Can I Convert a SET from 4X / 3X / 2X ?

    YES!
    You can *fully Convert a SET (Style/Perf/Pad/Sound/PCM) to any of the following models PA4X / 700 / 1000 / PA3X / 300 / 600 / 900 / 3X Le / PA800/2X Format.
    *Note:
    -Although great care has been take to be able to convert as many parameters as possible, including FX / EQ / Volume / Velocity etc... due to model differences, there may be differences on the result.
    -Some RX Noise & Factory ROM sounds may not be compatible with the converted model. Converted sounds may not always sound accurate and could require manual adjustment on the keyboard, by swapping converted sounds with a New chosen Factory sound.
    -STS / KBD Set - Due to model differences, not all settings & parameters can be converted. As a result, some settings may be lost and reset to Factory Default.
    -(Compressed samples are automatically uncompressed for 2X/800/300/600/900 Models).

  • Can I listen to Styles & Pads when using KORG PA Manager ?

    Currently, you can only Play PADs and fully hear them with their original samples. Factory Sounds are played back via MIDI GM.
    (*Please note: Locked samples are NOT supported.)

  • Can I Compress/Uncompress Samples with KORG PA Manager ?
  • Can I Export STYLEs & PAD's to Midi ?

    Currenly No.

  • Can I connect my Keyboard with KORG PA Manager ?

    No - KORG PA Manager is an external software, that does not require a direct connection to a keyboard.

  • Do I need to pay for future Updates ?

    Minor updates are Free.
    Major New Versions, are subject to an Upgrade Fee.
    Minor update = when the major version remains, but the minor version changes, i.e v4.x.
    Major update = when a major new release is released, i.e the future v5.x.

  • General

  • Is MAC Supported ?

    Mac is not supported.
    However, you can try & use Boot Camp to run Windows on your Mac. We cannot assist you with this process.
    Virtual Machines such as Parallels are NOT supported.

  • Which versions of Windows are Supported ?

    KORG PA Manager runs on Windows only. (Win 7, 8, 8.1, Win 10)
    Mac is not supported. Alternatively, you can use Boot Camp to run Windows on your Mac.
    Virtual Machines are NOT supported.

  • Will my current Code still work if i Upgrade ?

    No. Previous versions will no longer work, as you are Upgrading your License to a newer version.

    KORG PA Manager supports *All KORG PA Series Models. This includes:

    No. You'll need to get in touch with your local KORG distributor.

  • Does KORG PA Manager work with USB Locked SETs ?

    Yes, KORG PA Manager works with Encrypted / USB Locked SETs.
    Locked PCM Samples are supported, however, other Locked resources, such as Style/Sounds are currently not supported.
    Please try the DEMO to make sure your Locked set can be loaded.
    Note: you cannot listen/preview locked samples.
    *Please note, the original USB(s) will still be required when loading the SET back on to the Keyboard.

  • Does KPM Support PA800/2X with 16 Page DK OS + 256MB RAM ?

    Yes! KORG PA Manager has FULL support with the 16 Page DK PA800/2X OS + standard or 256MB Ram.

  • Do I need an Internet Connection to use KORG PA Manager ?

    Yes. A constant Internet Connection is required, to use KORG PA Manager and cannot be used offline.

  • Payment

  • What Payment Methods do you accept ?

    We accept all major credit cards (VISA, Mastercard, Discover, AMEX) and PayPal payments.

  • How Secure is my online order ?

    When purchasing online using your credit card, all of your information is entered into a SSL secure web page. Your information is then SSL-encrypted and sent directly to our credit card provider's network, where your card and transaction is authorized and approved. Your credit card information is not stored on our servers.

  • Are there any Exchange Rates ?

    All of our transactions are based in £ GBP Sterling. If your credit card is based in another currency, your order total will be calculated in accordance with the daily exchange rate of the date your card issuer processes the transaction.

  • Are VAT charges applied ?

  • Can i resell my license ?

    No. As our Terms & Conditions state; you cannot resell your Activation Code.

  • How do I Activate KORG PA Manager ?

    Step 1: Purchase your Licence.
    Step 2: Visit here for instructions on sending your Machine ID.

  • How long does it take to receive my Activation Code ?

    Once your order is accepted, you should e-mail us your 'Machine ID.
    Once this is received, you should receive your Activation Code shortly, in less than 30 mins.
    However, depending on where you are in the World, and due to Time Differences, (Please allow Maximum of up to 12-24 hours.)

  • What is 'Machine ID' ?

    'Machine ID' is a piece of information that Uniquely Identifies your computer. Your Activation Code is created based on this info. That's why it is very important to send your Machine ID ONLY from the computer you will be using KORG PA Manager on.

  • Lost Registration Info ?

    If you are a registered user and for whatever reason you cannot find, have lost or have not received your Activation Code within a reasonable amount of time (24 hours max), please send an e-mail to: info@korgpamanager.com

  • Refund Policy ?

    A refund can be made ONLY if you haven't yet obtained an Activation Code. If you have your Activation Code sent to you, then a refund cannot be made.
    That's why we provide you with a 14 Day Trial period to test and decide whether you like KORG PA Manager or not.

  • I want to Format my PC. Will my Activation Code still work ?

    Your Activation Code may still work as long as there are no major hardware changes.
    However, if your Windows is Not Genuine, or your Hardware Profile changes, then your code is most likely not going to work again and you may require a new Activation Code.
    As our Terms & Conditions state, you can request up to 3 New Activation Codes, free of charge.
    Once these FREE codes run out, you will need to purchase another pack of 3x Transfers for a fee of £25 GBP.

  • I have a New PC. Do I need to pay for a New Licence?

    Your Existing Activation Code can be Transferred to your New PC for Free, only 3 Times.
    (Note: A license cannot be sold or transferred to another person. If we suspect such activity, you will be asked for proof that the PC belongs to you.)
    If you have run out of FREE codes, then you will need to purchase another pack of 3x Transfers for a fee of £25 GBP.

  • I have more than One PC. Do I need to purchase Multiple Licences ?

    Yes. Each Activation Code is Unique, and will ONLY work on the machine/PC the 'Machine ID' was generated from. There is a 1 Licence per Machine/PC policy.
    Discount options are available when purchasing Multiple Licences.

  • How many times can I ask for a New License ?

    As our Terms & Conditions state, you can request up to 3 New Activation Codes, free of charge.
    Once these FREE codes run out, you will need to purchase another pack of 3x Transfers for a fee of £25 GBP.

  • KPM Does not start. No Internet Connection ?

    This may happen if you are trying to run KORG PA Manager under a Virtual Machine environment.
    KORG PA Manager does not run under a VM. It needs to be installed and run on a native Windows.

  • My PC keeps restarting....?

    Download & install the latest version again. If that doesn't solve the issue and your PC keeps restarting when starting the PA Manager, please get in touch via email or through the online live chat to fix the issue.

  • Does KPM Work with Virtual Machines ?

    KORG PA Manager does NOT work under Virtual Machines (VMWare / Parrallels and any other VM)
    You'll need to use the Native Windows version. Bootcamp is also supported on Mac platforms.

  • I would like to Help Translate KORG PA Manager. How can I contribute ?
